True, the villian is purely evil, but there had to be a reason why he took particularly joy in attempting to take Beaudry apart a piece at a time.<br /><br />During one of the last rewrites the reason suddenly flowed out of my fingers as if I were simply taking dictation while the character spoke. It took me a few minutes of staring at the line on the screen before it all made perfect sense. :) Then it was like, "Well, DUH!"
