The Truth Is Out There

I have broad tastes.

For TV shows I like quirky (Pushing Up Daisies), funny (Seinfeld, Friends), dramatic (24, Grey's Anatomy, Hill Street Blues) and romantic (Bachelor).

But my all time favorite, the series that would make me look foward to Sunday nights, was X-Files.

OMG, I loved that show.

The intrigue, the eww-factor, the FBI procedures, cases ripped from the headlines, the paranormal mysteries about aliens to serial killers...all combined with two of the best, well-written characters on tv.

Agent Mulder, with his spooky, heart-felt, intelligent, fighting for justice yumminess could have carried the show alone BUT add to the mix the small, cute, gentle, brave, super-smart, pessimistic, medical doctor, Agent Scully and...BAM!

A great show. Sigh, I miss it.

The truth is still out there...somewhere, just not on TV Sunday nights.

I love that show. Don't know if you know this but netflix has the entire 9 seasons streaming. Its fantastic and addictive. I got upset with the price increase at netflix so I left but I might go back just for the x files.

The first several seasons were definitely as good as TV gets, and oh so deliciously creepy. :-)

I miss X Files too! The first show to give me the same vibe was Fringe. But I think I've grown out of the eww fun factor. :)

Kayanna,
Thanks for letting me know. I've started watching the old ones on the BBC channel for free. How I love the DVR. To think I lived all those years without it. I don't know if BBC will have all the seasons, or not.

Jean Marie,
I agree, the last season was not as good as the beginning, but I still loved that show.

Xakara,
I didn't get into Fringe. Not sure why not.
